Writing with my Daddy

This morning in my quiet time I had a vision and 
I wanted to share it, so I painted it with pastels tonight! 

In the vision, the Lord kept putting a pen in my hand, and I would drop it, or throw it on the ground. 

Then I realized I was acting like a child, and it was because I was afraid.

So...the Lord said, "Let me help you," and He took the pen, put it in my hand and then wrapped His gentle hand around mine...

...and we began to write together.

The word "Love" did not come to me until after I started drawing the image.

The colors are symbolic. The pink is the passion. The white page is the purity of what we will write together. The blue represents heavenly revelation. And the tip of the pen is gold because it will be released to me in His Glory. I believe the word "love" is what I will write about. 

I have been having a hard time writing, even though He has been asking me to. But He knows how to motivate me better than anyone. 

For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 41:13 NIV

I pray it blesses you too!

Our King and Bridegroom

I painted this last night...it was not a vision, or anything I sought Him for, but it was my first attempt at doing a small watercolor/gauche painting.  Wanted to see how long it would take.  

The response I got from sharing it was enough to confirm God does wants me to do this.  

I wrote with it:  The gold represents His Glory, the Purple...His majesty, the white...purity and the fire red in His eyes, the passion He has for His Bride.   Title:  Our King and Bridegroom
